I have carried a mini-moleskin notepad and space pen for years….in separate pockets. This, of course, resulted in several embarrassing situations where one or the other was missing. Guys i work construction labor. In fact i did concrete. This wallet has shocked me. I have no idea why but this damn thing has been covered in concrete many times and beaten to shit. I don't understand why it looks the way it does.

Looks a bit more worn/irregular upon arrival than I expected, given the pictures on the site, but I am ok with the look. I am into the minimalist thing when it comes to my edc, but was looking for a change to something more classy and quality, and this scratches the itch perfectly.
My boyfriend is a mechanical engineer and is always looking for paper to jot things down so this wallet is perfect because he doesn’t leave the house without it. Also, the craftsmanship is beautiful and I loved the personalized note written on the lid of the box it came in. Smiles all around!
I have been wanting this wallet for over a year and finally pulled the trigger. It is very handy for jotting down notes as I often take calls during the daytime. I have used the pen multiple times when one was not available. Really love this wallet. The Moleskine will wear out long before the leather ever will. Great build quality and I will probably use this until it breaks (if it ever does). The key fob I purchased has also been handy as I had two sets of keys on key rings before and now have them all on one ring and can easily slide them in and out of my front or back pocket by keeping it clipped on my belt loop. Would definitely buy another product from this company. I will probably purchase the button stud chrono watch in the future. Thanks for the great products and fast shipping. The first time I saw the Architect's Wallet it made such an impression I never forgot the website. I saw this wallet a couple of years ago and kept going back to the wallet every few months looking for a reason to treat myself. The size, design, and cool factor of the wallet really can't be matched.
The only negative, and it can be dealt with, is the moleskin is a bit fragile. I did overs stuff my wallet initially, and this caused a small tear in the corner of the moleskin where the cover meets the binding on the side that slides into the pocket. The over-stuffing was my fault; however, the moleskin cover's top layer (the covered layer) began peeling back and curling after only two days of sliding the wallet in and out of my pocket. I consider this normal usage, so this is a moleskin quality issue, IMHO. Both of these things were handled with the careful application of strong cellophane tape - problem solved. And, to be clear, this has nothing to do with the quality of the wallet itself, which I think is stellar.
In the end, I ended up buying two - one for me and one for my best friend. He likes it as much as me. Well done, FFF!
I've had my architect wallet for a couple of days now and it's been great. Good size, quality leather and stitching. Customer service is also on point and very helpful. Only concern is that folded cash sticks out of the top of the pocket. If you could make one with a leather magnetic money clip on the back I'd buy 5 more just to have extras! Let me know when these are ready to ship, or if you'll make me a custom one. I can send pictures if you'd like. I will recommend to friends. Thank you.
I failed to actually look at the dimensions prior to placing my order and needed something larger than this. This is for a tiny notepad, not the standard pocket journal size. So it’s far smaller than I had anticipated. Of course I got it embossed so now it will just sit on my nightstand, a $145 monument to my own foolishness.
Still, it’s a beautiful object, but impractically small for my needs. I try to think about what a use case might be for such a wee lil’ notepad. Like if i were a keebler elf making cookies in a tree, i could use it to jot down shopping lists. Or if i were a much cooler guy, I could use it to take down ladies’ phone numbers when I meet them on my many adventures.
But I am not a cookie elf; nor a modern adventurer. I’m forced to find some kind of use for the thing. Maybe I’ll use it as like a dream journal? I guess I could put it in the center console of my car, and then it’s always there if i need to make a quick note or need a pen for something else. But then its beauty will be hidden and I can’t look at it.
Anyway. It probably isn’t fair to rate this two stars, because this mismatch is entirely my fault. But nobody reads five star reviews, and I do think that a person reading this should just double-check the size of the thing before ordering.
Not my first purchase from FFF. I've been buying this and their other 2 small wallets for close to 20 years. My original wallet is not only still usable but has been with daily every day. The other one I purchased are for friends. High qualiity leather and workmanship. Heirloom product. Your grand children will fight over who gets it when your gone. Very reasonable pricing for a lkifetime of use. Highly recommend FFF

This is my 6-7th buy of these items from FFF. I discovered these cuties, about 10 years ago. Keep a user and a spare of each in my desk, since then. World class leather and workmanship, Design is beyond belief. Your Grandkids will figh over hem whe your gone, even with heavy EDC use and weather issues. Nice to have something to write notes in that also serves quite well as a wallet. Fits well in my back pocket (best if you position the pen to the outside of your hip). It looks good to boot! I think this will be a staple in my EDC for a long time to come. Keep up the great work FFF!
Only had it for a couple of weeks but I love it so far. I’m a general contractor and like having physical notes but didn’t want a big notebook on me at all times. Works perfectly, looks great.

I am super happy about the item - I wanted a small thing and this is even smaller than I thought, so totally fits my idea. Materials, pen, notebook - all 10/10 could not change much :) The other thing is the delivery - my first order seems to be stolen on the porch, but FFF instantly replaced it no questions asked.

My wallet game has been a constant progression since my first one. Long behind are the days of that loud, Velcro, anti-mating call sounding tri-fold. No more do I carry a wallet with a chain, for I do not carry in the back giving me hip dysplasia. I shan't ever revive the flashy Nixon bi-fold in an attempt to show off how edgy I am.
In all seriousness, this is probably the last wallet I will ever have. Not only does it have that premium build and feel, but the smell of quality leather is intoxicating. I detest taking notes on my phone, so the notebook and pen is a god send. Might I add the admiration you gain from whipping this bad boy out, like a full well groomed beard, this wallet shows confidence and commands respect. I have people compliment me on it almost every time I have to use it. I will also note that I might have been the first person to receive a modified new variant of the Architect, with two slots on the opposite side of the notebook, instead of the single side pocket. Get this one if you can, but don't ask for an ID window. If you do, then you must also need to cork the end of your forks for safety.
The only tips I would give is to carry the wallet in your front pocket (where it belongs), and to have the card slots face down. The notebook will wear slower if you don't have it against your leg. I will be buying future products from this guys. $1000 products for around $100, they're the pound for pound leather good making champs. Thanks FFF.
