We created the Custom Cordovan Button-Stud Watchband, (the first button-stud watchband on the market) and launched it with our first products in early 2012. A couple months later, we introduced the adjustable button-stud band, allowing the same simplicity and comfort of the custom band, but sized to fit any wrist, (and if it doesn't fit yours, we'll get you one that does) while maintaining a sleek look of the original by hiding the adjustment holes behind the watch face. Since then, we've had a LOT of imitators; so it looks like we're doing something right.

Offered here in Horween Chromexcel, Veg Tan, and Latigo leathers.  Top-shelf Shell Cordovan leather options also available. For a ready-made watch & band combination, see our currently available pairings with select watch faces.

We use heavier weight leathers and thin down the ‘watch side’ of the band (where the adjustment holes are) for a more universal fit between watch springbars, while maintaining a heavier weight, more substantial leather for the bulk of the band. If you get a band and find your watch still won’t accept the band due to an extremely tight gap, let us know and we’ll make adjustments or get you a refund.

Engraving & Monogramming

In general, we are subtle with our personalized engravings & monograms. Smaller products receive smaller monograms, and any personalized messages are hidden where the owner can see them but they are not 'out in the open' whenever possible. If you have specific preferences for any customized engravings, make a note in the special instructions section after selecting your options and we'll contact you to verify after your order.

Product Dimensions

Band width as selected. Standard length bands will fit most watches on most wrists up to 8". If you find you need a longer or shorter band, let us know and we'll gladly get you a replacement.

What Kind of Leather Does FFF Use? What's this Chromexcel/Veg Tan/HF stuff instead of just leather color? Where are your products made?

We make everything by hand in Orlando.

As to the leathers we use: The super short answer is Horween Leathers in Chicago, and because we're leather geeks we want you to know exactly what you're getting--it's so much more than just the color of the leather.

You can find more info HERE about how we do things.

You can super-geek about the various leather types/tannages we use in our different products HERE.

Too thick for my watch🙁

I was disappointed that the band was too thick for my watch. I love the band. I have ordered another watch which is made for that type of band. I am hoping they will work well together. I ordered a different watch and for the initial watch and I am quite pleased with it.

Hello Marcia; I want to make sure that you get a band that works for you. Your son contacted us about an issue with the band and we sent a different one as a replacement (usps says it's on its way to deliver to you tomorrow), but he hadn't mentioned that it was too thick. Please reach out via email and we'll get it fixed for you, whatever the issue may be.

Great watch band

I'm very happy with my honey tan leather watchband, the color is nice and the leather is very soft and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Comfortable, stylish, and durable

I’ve had a lot of leather watch bands over the years, from a variety of price points. This is far and away the highest quality strap among them.

The common points of wear on a standard buckle style of watch are in the adjustment holes and the keeper loops, elements that receive wear every single time the watch is taken on and off. This button-stud watchband design eliminates those features, resulting in a more durable strap. Furthermore, the screw on the button spreads out the wear beyond the edges of the adjustment hole, the retaining hole is large and has a generous amount of leather around it, and the NATO/ZULU style of passthrough eliminates the strain placed on leather that would otherwise need to be looped around itself to fit around a spring bar. With no stitches to come loose and a weight of leather that is downright monolithic, this strap will definitely last longer than many others I’ve owned.

Design aside, the band looks fantastic. The natural chromexcel leather reacts beautifully to being in tension on the wrist, and the button stud can be configured to match exactly with the case color on whatever watch it happens to be paired with. The leather’s excellent quality and tanning will develop a delicious patina over time.

The comfort of the band is also magnificent; like any leather strap the feeling of it against the skin is superior. The flesh-side of the strap that rests against your skin is unfinished and slightly rough to the touch at first, but softens dramatically with wear.

All these virtues of the strap follow directly from its design, really epitomizing the product philosophy here: form follows function follows form. I’m really pleased with the watch strap, and only hope that one day I can purchase one that takes springbars for my watches with transparent case backs, though I suppose that would compromise many of the benefits that I’ve laid out here already.

Love these straps, they're cool, stylish, and extremely comfortable. And the customer service is the best I've ever experienced.
